Interactive Medical Education for MDs
(MCCQ1, MCCQ2, NAC OSCE Preparatory Course)
It is indeed a dream for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to be a physician in the health care system of Canada. Most residency programs in Canada require at least 2 exams (MCCQ1 and NAC OSCE) to qualify and be eligible to apply for it.
Notwithstanding the fact that adequate knowledge is an essential tool in any medical examination, the success in the above exams is not limited to it. Certain techniques and acumen are also required. Our honest intention is to help the candidates achieve their dream by providing appropriate medical knowledge equipped with specialized techniques.
We offer preparatory courses for MCCQ1, NAC OSCE and MCCQ2. As USMLE Step 2 CK and CS are similar exams to MCCQ1 and NAC OSCE/MCCQ2 respectively, the candidates of the said exams also participate in our courses.
Our mentor, Dr. Ray, is a well experienced teacher with long clinical and teaching experience. He has been conducting the OSCE courses (NAC and MCCQ2) and USMLE Step 2 CS preparatory courses since 2007 and MCCQ1 and USMLE Step 2 CK preparatory courses since 2019. The courses are organized and conducted multiple times a year both in classroom setting and online.
Though the permanent physical classroom location is in Montreal, classroom teaching is also available in other cities across Canada. Since 2007, courses have been conducted in most metropolitan cities across Canada. ONLINE CLASSES was also launched as a result of the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, allowing candidates to comfortably participate from within and outside of Canada.
Courses of MCCQ1 include both the MCQ as well as the CDM part of the exam. Most of the topics of clinical medicine are covered in the course along with exercises of sample MCQs CDM questions.
OSCE courses (NAC OSCE, MCCQ2 and USMLE-CS) are a completely practical oriented clinical course involving the participants practicing with a role model simulated patient (SP) followed by detailed discussion of the test case including relevant post encounter questions. Physical examination cases are also conducted live on simulated patients. The course is structured to assess the techniques of history taking, live physical examination, problem solving, data interpretation, investigations, management, communication skills, and understanding of professional ethics. We have structured this course in such a way that it will not only improve your exam-taking skills, but also enrich your clinical knowledge, practical acumen and as a whole build the clinical competence and judgement to manage a patient in your real practice.
For further information, you may contact us or even speak directly to Dr. Ray without any obligation to participate in the course.
